The American Institute of Kenpo was honored to host the formal recognition ceremony on December 2, 2018, where Sigung Stephen LaBounty and Mr. Lee Wedlake were inducted as Senior Masters of the Arts.
Mr. Bob White and Mr. John Sepulveda, both of whom had been previously recognized as Senior Masters earlier that year, graciously participated in the ceremony, completing the quartet of esteemed individuals.
The American Institute of Kenpo expresses its profound gratitude for the opportunity to serve and honor those who have dedicated their lives to the advancement of Kenpo Karate.
We firmly believe that the lineage and legacy of any system should only be guided by those who have unwaveringly served and protected it.
The Senior Masters embody the essence of Kenpo through their unwavering Spirit, Honor, and Discipline.
Furthermore, they embody the Laws of the Scholar & Warrior: Truth, Bravery, Courtesy, Compassion, Sincerity, Discernment, Loyalty, and Faith.
These Senior Masters have dedicated their entire lives to training and teaching the art of American Kenpo.
Stephen LaBounty, Bob White, John Sepulveda, and Lee Wedlake honorably represent the art of Kenpo and the esteemed rank of Senior Master.
