In 2024, Ed Parker Jr. and his wife Baer Parker personally promoted Mr. Andrew Pilch to 9th Degree Black Belt (Master of the Arts). More details about this special promotion can be found on Mr. Pilch’s bio page.

In December 2018, during AIK’s Tribute to Sigung Stephen LaBounty, Mr. Duffy and Mr. Swan were promoted and recognized as 9th Degree Black Belts. This memorable event was officiated by Sigung Stephen LaBounty, Mr. Bob White, Mr. John Sepulveda, and Mr. Lee Wedlake.

We are deeply honored to celebrate these esteemed leaders — our elder brothers in the art — and grateful for the opportunity to host such a significant occasion.

These Masters of the Arts continue to embody the highest standards of Kenpo through their lifelong dedication, wisdom, and service to the art.
