Strangling Ram

Strangling: To apply a chokehold

Ram: Right hand punch

Attack

The Ideal attack requires that your opponent starts in front of you in a left fighting stance. They step forward with their right foot as he delivers a right straight punch toward your face.

Defense Pattern

1. Left Step Forward toward 12:00 into a Left Neutral Bow Stance and execute a Left Inward Block to the outside of your opponent’s right arm.

2. Pivot into a Left Forward Bow Stance and deliver a Right Ridge Hand to the left side of your opponent’s jaw as your Left Hand Checks your opponent’s right arm.

3. Right Step into a Right Transitional Cat Stance then Right Step Forward toward 1:30 into a Right Neutral Bow Stance and apply a Forearm Choke to your opponent’s carotid arteries.

4. Pivot into a Left Forward Bow Stance (facing 7:30) tripping your opponent and forcing them onto the ground.

5. Left Pinning Check to your opponent’s arms as you deliver a Right Dropping Knee to your opponent’s right ribs and a Right Vertical Punch to your opponent's face.

6. Left Gauging Step toward 3:00 then perform a Right Front Crossover and Cover Out toward 3:00.
