Due to her marriage often Mrs. Rebecca Knight lives somewhat in the shadow of her husband. However, Shawn Knight (her husband) says, “Rebecca stands right beside me in all aspect of our lives together and I find myself within the confines of her shadow almost daily. There are no words that could ever adequately express my gratitude for the person that has influenced me beyond the scope of all others in my life”. Managing the AIK Headquarters School, Mrs. Knight serves as Director of Operations for the American Institute of Kenpo, she tirelessly serves school managers, owners and her students alike. Although her demeanor is quiet and at 5” and a quarter inch tall she is no imposing figure, you will find her to be a giant in the Art of Kenpo.

Mrs. Daylene Pilch is a woman of service and sacrifice. She maintained a full-time job (for years) while her husband built their fledgling school. In addition, Mrs. Pilch assisted in the day to day running of the school and taught her own classes as well – which continues to this day. Mrs. Pilch has a deep need to make a difference and she is always there to give extra effort no matter how long her day becomes. It is said that behind any good man is an even better woman – this is the case with Mrs. Pilch. Her husband frequently says, “Daylene is the reason that I have achieved my dreams”. Mrs. Pilch serves the American Institute of Kenpo as the Human Resources Director, she is quick to find the right man (or woman) for any job.
